Dorothy Perkins
AUTUMN/WINTER 2011

Dorothy Perkins bursts into the new season with a head to toe explosion of colour, taking inspiration from the latest trends and transforming them into wearable pieces for Autumn Winter 2011.

Tailoring is refined and simple and features monochrome with a 60s twist. The tuxedo jacket and tube trouser are set to be a season staple, while minimal tops and gorgeous coats can be offset against leopard print or a colour contrast to create a bolder look.

The 70s is key across both casual and formal. From shrunken retro knits, graphic knit dresses and wide leg tailored trousers to pleated circular skirts, brightly coloured roll necks and fluid jumpsuits. Autumn Winter embraces the key colours from mustard and berry to teal and burnt orange.

20s Art Deco is the inspiration for going out dressing. Graphic appliqué, colour block details, intricate embellishments and clever draping ensure this pretty, minimal trend ticks all the boxes.
